The pizza is edible, so was that "pizza" they served in the public school system. The steak sandwich was so sad I almost cried. How can a Cuban establishment in the heart of Hialeah put out something so bland and subpar? If you're starving, high on dope, or both, skip this and head to Wendy's or Pizza Hut which tastes like fine dining in comparison.

What's there to say about this place? It's yummy, simple, comfort food. No bells and whistles here. Menu is limited to a few pasta dishes, pizza and a few sandwiches. However, it is open 24 hours and has a breakfast menu as well (although I've never had breakfast from here). It's cheap, good food. Nothing spectacular or to rave home to mom about. They don't do anything special. And I'm not trying to make it seem likes it's not worth your time, what I mean is they don't do anything different or innovative with their dishes. Like I mentioned it's comfort food. Oh, and they also offer take out. A lot of people say they love the shakes here, I personally don't, I find them to be watered down and I prefer milk shakes made with real ice cream. But this place is cheap enough, oh what the heck try it anyway. Service is hit or miss, sometimes it's very fast and other times it's snail slow - depends on the employees' moods. You sit yourself so you don't have to wait to be seated. And the employees aren't bad, they just do their job, they're nice enough but don't really strive to give you an extraordinary experience or make any personal connections and that's ok just take my order and bring me my food and refills please and thank you. That's certainly fine by me. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone especially if low in cash or on a budget. My husband and I had an order of garlic rolls, a personal pizza, spaghetti and a soft drink for $19 and change with tax and tip included! You can't beat that price! You get what you pay for here. I've never had a bad experience here and will continue stopping in when in the neighborhood. Try it out!

My hubby is in love with this place. And I have to say I finally see why. Their personal pizzas are to die for. And their shakes are made from fresh fruits and prepared delicious. Our son is in love with the mamay shake. It's a nice place to get a quick delicious meal.

I grew up blocks from this pizza joint. It only took them about ten years to construct the place to what it is today. The service is always slow and they do open 24 hours so it is appealing to the late night folks. The pizza however has gone down in quality from what it used to be, however, it's a nice change of pace for the"Cuban style" deep dish pizza. Toppings are usually layered under the cheese and their sauce has a nice garlic taste to it.

Food is not consistent... Depends on the cool that given night. One thing that never fails me is the garlic knots. Always served warm with lots of garlic, parmesan cheese, and oil. Not the healthiest thing for you but really tasty.

i came here expecting garbage because my wifey had a bad memory of this place (possibly). she ended up having a phantom memory because it was not as she said it was. i would rather pay more money for quality pizza than pay cheaper for meh pizza. pizza is important to me even though i don't eat it super often. i judge a pizza in comparison to costco and haus of pizza (in costa mesa). (sorry miamians...i don't know of a miami version of haus of pizza but just think super yummy pizza with high quality ingredients). costco pizza is unbelievably high quality for little doh (...hehe pun now intended). rey pizza is pretty good cuban style pizza. in the mixta pizza they have green marinated olives (?!!!) instead of the black ones we're all familiar with. the pizza had quality ingredients. the menu was a little confusing because they don't list the toppings for the pizzas they make. better than domino's or papa john's. they only have two sizes: 12" and 24". the 12" is about $6.00 and the 24" is about $16 - $20. pan de ajo (garlic bread) was killer. the pasta was way way over cooked and only slightly overpriced ($7). *begin diatribe on pasta * it is shocking to me that people pay $20 for a pasta meal. you boil some dried pasta, put on some sauce and some meat and charge $20? pasta ingredients are $1-2 tops. this is just highway robbery. and suckers are paying it. pasta with ground beef should be $5. that includes a hefty profit margin. $7, and it better be cooked right and big or includes garlic bread (20 cent cost). anything over than that and we're suckers for paying more. i understand that there's overhead and what-not but italian food is not "romantic"...it's simple and awesome food but, please, don't charge $20 for some slop that you boiled. that's right, i'm looking at you olive garden with your overpriced bleh pasta. don't you even think about coming in to my gut with your jive turkey. *end diatribe on pasta * needless to say, i wouldn't get the pasta again. the place was clean and the service was great. i'd go again for the pizza and garlic bread.

This place is for the after club people who are craving the munchies. It serves as the alternative to the ihop/denny's crew. Pizza is on the sweet side, but it is cheap and it is a personal pan. Good for the night crew who is also looking for a laugh. The waitresses are just dying to talk to you from the boredom :P
